Medronho aquadente Portuguese

For two day's now I'm drinking Medronho, thats hard liquor from the Arbustus unedo a fruit which growin in the mediterranean area. Arbustus unedo or strawberrytree is familly as you easly can see at the flower from the Ericaceae.
The farmers pick and made their spirit them self, it contains more than 40% alcohol. Thats probebly the reason why I feel weak and lousy today.
Be aware ! Strong stuff

Just for the two of us

They have just six tomato plants here and some strawberry plants. Yesterday I cleaned the terra in the stone bassin wher those plants are growing in. You can see it on the pic 's

Amphitheatre vale de Madaira

The owners before my host have made all the terrace and strairs here even the garden actually. They also made this small but nice amphitheatre but unfortunately it is not well maintained and the stonetiles are falling of and the weed is taking over off course. So because its close to my spot I like to clean it. My host do not realy care but is my day of so I can choose to do what ever I want to do.
I would like someone to restaurate this and than we can give a nice small concert :-)

The blue magpie

The blue magpie or offecial Cyanopica cyanus, is only living in Portugal and also here in the garden eating the loquat from the tree. Nespera as how they called here is a orange fruit from the Rosaceae family. Eriobotrya japonica. Not bad taste we can it aswell. The bird is quite beautifull smaller and slimmer than the normal one and is making a little less noise
